Founder’s Letter
To everyone deciding the future of a business
Over the years, I have seen many businesses and worked across many places.
From finance, tax, international trade and business management to venture capital and capital markets; from small firms to large enterprises; from Taiwan to Europe, Japan, Singapore and beyond.
Twenty years of experience have made me believe one thing more strongly than ever:
What changes the fate of a business is rarely how much information it has. It is how that information is understood, how judgment is formed, and what decision is made at the critical moment.
So when the world talks about AI, I have never seen it as just another technology.
I see the next revolution in business productivity.
Electricity once entered every factory. Semiconductors entered almost every technology product. The internet redefined information and commerce.
Today, I believe AI is following the same path.
One day, we will no longer ask whether a company uses AI, just as we no longer ask whether a company uses electricity.
It will no longer be an option. It will be a basic business capability.
What AI ultimately has to answer is a business question
Yet what matters to me is never how impressive AI can be.
The question is: can it make a business better?
Can it make a factory more efficient?
Can it help an owner understand a problem sooner?
Can a ten-person company gain capabilities that once required one hundred people?
Can decades of experience in a traditional industry remain after one person leaves?
To find out, we did not stay in the office and study AI from a distance.
We went out to see how industries, institutions and companies in different countries are meeting this shift; and we committed ourselves fully — across capital, industry, technology and real deployment — testing again and again how AI actually enters a business.
In the end, the answer I arrived at was a simple one:
What a business truly lacks is not more AI.
It is someone who can turn complex AI into real results.
That is where CEO AI HUB began.
Turning twenty years of experience into wisdom that can be passed on
This brand also carries my own twenty years of experience.
I have always loved reading a good book.
A book truly worth reading may hold an understanding that took its author ten years, twenty years, sometimes a lifetime to earn.
And in a few hours, we can draw out the most valuable part of someone else’s remarkable life.
It made me wonder: if personal experience can be passed on this way, why not the know-how that is genuinely precious in the business world?
- The judgment an entrepreneur built over twenty years.
- The lesson left behind by an investment that succeeded, or failed.
- The real rules of an industry.
- The method a company learned only at great cost.
None of it should be left scattered in one person’s memory.
It should be extracted, organized and accumulated, until it becomes wisdom the next person can stand on.
So I have been putting the financial thinking, venture experience, business judgment and international perspective of these years into CEO AI HUB, piece by piece; and connecting advisors, talent, industries, technology, academia, computing power and capital across fields.
What I hope CEO AI HUB finally stands for is not just an AI brand.
It is a place where an entrepreneur can draw on knowledge, experience, methods and resources whenever they are needed.
Much like reading a good book.
You do not have to live someone else’s twenty years to gain the wisdom of those twenty years.
Now, through CEO AI HUB, you can stand on what many others have earned and walk your own next stretch of road.
Making AI a basic capability every business can use
My hope has never been only for large enterprises.
One day, I hope every business — multinational groups, traditional factories, small and medium companies, down to the fried chicken shop on the corner — can enjoy the productivity AI brings.
Without needing to know what RAG is, or how many billion parameters a model has.
Because technology is not at its greatest when a few are the first to own it,
but on the day ordinary people can use it, and become stronger for it.
With semiconductors, Taiwan once showed the world what it could manufacture.
In the next era, I hope that with AI,
Taiwan can show the world what it can do with intelligence.
That is why I built CEO AI HUB.
We are not chasing the AI wave.
We are betting on the next era.
Turning know-how forged by time into wisdom that can be passed on;
turning the change under way in the world into capability a business can use today.
Understand the world through AI.
Judge the future through a world view.
And let Taiwan’s business wisdom reach the world once more.
